Great location. Awesome views

The app. corresponds to t discription. However it was disappointing that we were informed that the dishwasher was not working, and infuriating that this was done in a laconic manner, without a word of regret or apology. The cleanliness was also wanting: the windows dirty on the inside and dust from drilling work on the floor.

The property was wonderful- the pictures do not do it justice . The views are incredible . We loved watching the bald eagles and golden eagles landing on the roof. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay- this is it!We loved the lighthouse loop, rocky bluffs trail and cox bay beach!Will be back!

If i could give 4.5 I would. Pros: Perfect location. The view from the deck is wonderful, seating is comfortable, and we found watching the working fishing boats fascinating. Cons: The VRBO listing says laundry but there is no laundry (and as of today that has not been changed although i brought it to the attention of the property manager). We were made whole, but this was a long stay for us and we had counted on being able to wash clothes without dealing with a laundromat. There are also no windows that open. the only way to get airflow is to leave open the doors (and swat that flies that come in). Lack of screens seemed to be pretty common in Ucluelet, if this is something that matters to you look carefully.

Ucluelet is beautiful, and this location was perfect. Great to watch the small ships come and go from the water facing room and balcony. Walking distance from many many restaurants and shops, and not too overcrowded like some other places. Easy drive to visit other places such as Tofino. The resort was spacious, one bedroom, with everything one needs for a short get-away. Parking is easy and entrance to building and room was all be code (no need to carry a key!). Will definitely stay here again next time we are on Vancouve island!
