Definitely worth a stay Positive: The communication with the owner was fantastic. The property had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Good cooking facilities, plenty of towels. The night light in the bathroom is a good added extra. Nice to have table and chairs outside. Negative: Couldn't fault it!

It was fine for two. Positive: Location was good.short drive to restaurants. Negative: It was very small (I knew that by the photos. Another luggage label would have been helpful. Sound from floor above was noticeable.

The apartment was spotless with a deck looking over the bay. Communication was good. There were no washcloths so we asked to get some. They never showed up. One of the blinds was broken in the main room. It aldo would be helpful to alert that there are many stairs to get there.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay & felt it was good value for the price. Positive: Location, location! Small but cozy, clean and thoughtfully accessorized. Better than a lot of places I have stayed in. Wild Pacific Trail was 5 min away by bike, downtown Ucluelet a few minutes more. I was able to cook all my meals in the unit. Negative: Noise transfer. First 2 nites no- one upstairs (this unit is below street level with 2 stories overhead) .. very quiet. The last nite a friendly group arrived and stayed up late. If the upstairs were carpeted or had some kind of noise abatement, would not have been a problem. Also - laundry facilities are not available to this unit & more hooks are needed to hang clothes, especially when it rains! There is no closet or dedicated area for hanging clothes. This unit is only reachable by roughed-in stairs that run downhill so not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Wouldn’t stay here again, no would I recommend it. Positive: The cabin was cute and comfy. Negative: The steps down to number 2 are difficult and dangerous with no railing. Carrying bags was quite frightening. When wet the steps are slippery. One wash cloth for two people for three nights is not acceptable. No signage with Kingfisher anywhere about, so no direction as to where we were at, or where to park. So finding the place was quite difficult. Smoke detector went off when we made toast! and it was barely toasted. Refrigerator freezer needs to be defrosted and cleaned with clean ice cube trays. Instructions as to how to use/empty the dehumidifier would have been nice instead of it stopping in the middle of the night and showing an error and not knowing what to do !! A few coat hangers would have been handy. If think of anything else in will let you know.
